After you have reviewed my free quote, (which will include an outline of what I recommend for your BID, and the fee estimate for my initial visit), contact me and we will schedule a trip to your town or district.
The following is an outline of what you can expect, and how my fees are structured:
Phase One: (On-site visit)
Half-down: One-half the initial estimate is required to initiate this phase.
Airfare: Business Class. (Outside driving distance.)
Rental Car: Preferably from someone in your district.
Initial Meeting: Expect to hold a short (about one hour) meeting with representatives of your BID.
Meals: Will take each meal from a member of your district.
Travel Guide: Expect to spend some time each day with one or two of your members, who will guide me through your district. (I like to see more than one perspective of your BID.)
Photos: Web photos will be shot during my travels through your BID.
Media: Will contact local TV, radio, & papers, for their advertising schedules.
Printing: I always try to use a local print shop for any printed material. (I will contact them, during my visit, for their pricing.)
Flat Daily Rate: I expect to spend from three to five days in your town or district. And work over 12-hours per day. (I work very hard for your BID, and not by the hour!)
Second Meeting: At the end of my last day, I will hold another short meeting with the representatives of your BID, to discuss the plan, and offer my estimate of the total costs. (I expect the balance of phase one to be paid at the end of my visit.)
Phase Two: (Development work)
Require half the estimated development costs to initiate this phase.
Usually requires from 60 to 90 days to prepare marketing materials, web pages, logos, hand bills, and media campaigns.
Will correspond by email and phone to involve your members in the design process.
Expect the final half of the development costs at the completion of this phase.
Phase Three: (Implementation)
Half my implementation fees are expected to initiate this phase.
Media contracts will be completed and schedules will be drawn.
Media spots, newspaper ads, handbills, and web pages will hit the market.
Expect the final half of the implementation fees at the completion of this phase.
Phase Four: (Fine-tuning)
After running for one month, a fine-tuning process will be conducted to fix anything that's not working optimally.
Fees will be quoted as needed, with half up front and the balance on delivery.
Phase Five: (Optional)
Some projects require on-going updates or maintenance. Those will be quoted separately.
A revisit is sometimes required. That, if necessary, will be quoted separately.
