The more you know about the person you are trying to find, the better will be your results. If you are looking for a common name like Tom Smith, and you don't know any more then his name, you will probably get thousands of hits, "Returns". If you are getting too many hits, try entering more specific information, like a state, city, etc. If you are looking for an uncommon name, just entering the name may give you only a few hits. Remember not everybody is in the system, yet.
Bob –vs- Robert. Most "people finding search engines" have a Smart Name Feature. When you are looking for a Jack the engine will also search for John, Johnny, Jonathan, Etc…
Why can't I find someone's email address? Unlike the telephone system, when you get a new phone number, your name is automatically put in the telephone directory, unless you specifically request an unlisted number, in most cases the Internet E-Mail Books will not list your email address unless you go to that particular service and enter your information.
Females are usually harder to locate than males, their last names change more often. If you can't find a long lost female, try looking for their father, brother, male cousin, or other family member then contact them.
When looking for anyone or anything, your first search may not give you the results you were hoping for. The key here is to keep trying different ways to ask for the information and then if that search engine still does not return what you want, try another search engine. Persistence pays big dividends when looking for information.
