Home of the .40-Super. All Storm Lake Machine Barrels and bushings are made from 416 Stainless Steel. All products are machined from solid barstock. Barrels are offered in many different configurations from a 5" drop-in to a supported oversize threaded bull barrel. Tolerances on the barrels are held within +/- .001 or closer in all critical areas. The barrel bushings are run in two sizes, .580 and .582 std, also in commander length. Finish heat treat on the barrels and bushings is 40-42 R.C. Compensators are made from 4340 and they are not heat treated. The port design on the comps consists of three ports on the top, large to small, and one port on each side.
