Cowboy Action shooting is great fun, and the only firearm sport that attracts more women than men. (About 52 percent are women.) This is also the only shooting sport where fun comes in second to safety. Most all other shooting sports place competition near the top, and don't have near the fun they should.Cowboy Action allows you to dress up and act out your favorite late 1800s persona, real or fictional, and have more fun with firearms than should be allowed. As a staunch defender of our Bill of Rights I have chosen Judge JR as my persona. As one whose ancestor, William Whipple, signed the Declaration of Independence, I find my character right in-line with my feelings about what our country is all about.

The Single Action Shooting Society® is an international organization created to preserve and promote the sport of Cowboy Action ShootingTM. SASS® endorses regional matches conducted by affiliated clubs, stages END of TRAIL®, The World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, promulgates rules and procedures to ensure safety and consistency in Cowboy Action Shooting matches, and seeks to protect its members' 2nd Amendment rights. SASS® members share a common interest in preserving the history of the Old West and competitive shooting.

CHEYENNE CRT'G. BOXES were first offered on May 1, 1998 to provide cowboy action shooters & re-enactors with an authentic alternative to modern factory or plastic after market storage boxes. To our surprise (and success) we discovered that our boxes appealed to just about anyone with gun related interests. Our line will continue to expand to meet our customers needs.
