About the time of the founding of the United States of America James Watt was trying to interest someone in his improved steam engine. The steam engine had already been invented, but was a huge, inefficient, and nearly useless contraption. Watt had an idea that would change this, and ultimately transform the world.
As good inventor as he was, James Watt was no businessman. Had it not been for Matthew Boulton, Watt's steam engine would never have seen the light of day. Mr. Boulton was a successful businessman and between his talents, and Watt's genus, something like a steam-powered Microsoft was created. This made Matthew Boulton extremely powerful and wealthy, James Watt the preeminent inventor of the day, and their partnership forever changed the world.
Two hundred years later and I'm looking for a modern-day Matthew Boulton. I have several inventions that may not be as earthshaking as the steam engine, but they may solve some of the problems of the world, and turn a tidy profit. Like Watt, I am an inventor, and like him, if I can't find a business partner, my inventions may never get their day in the sun.
I'll supply the inventions and designs, if you can supply the money and leadership we'll change the world, or at least make a little money.
For obvious reasons, I'm not going to tell the world about my all my ideas here, but if you would tell me a little about yourself, I'll tell you a little about my inventions. Maybe together we can create something wonderful.
