Preparation Information
In preparation for the assembly and loading of your new computer we need to know a little about some of your current peripherals and software.
If the new computer, you recently purchased from us is a replacement computer, and you will be using your existing printer, scanner, or other hardware, we may need to locate the most current drivers for these devices. (See the bottom of this page for more.)

RED Fields are MANDITORY
Most people and companies have existing peripherals (Printers, scanners, etc) that they wish to continue to use with their new computer. They also have specific software programs and valuable data that are critical to the operation of their business, and need to be migrated to the new machine. Older peripherals and some older programs may need updates to properly function with today's newer computers. We need to know what peripherals and programs you have, so we can locate the appropriate updates for these devices and software.
Some older peripherals, and a few older programs, may not be upgradeable and may need to be replaced, in order to function properly with your new computer. This is very rare. Most older programs and hardware can be made to work, but some cannot. Knowing exactly what current hardware and software you have will help us determine if there may be any problems.
Upon delivery of your new computer, please have at the ready, the original install disks for each program you wish to have installed on your new machine. Some programs require passwords or key-numbers to be entered during the installation process. If any of your programs require such numbers or passwords, please have them at the ready.
Occasionally, especially with programs written specify for a given business like business management and other vertical-market programs, we may need to contact the program's technical support department in order to successfully install them. Please have support telephone numbers at the ready if you have any unique programs. (Many unique programs have limited technical support hours, and may not be available during the hours when we will be installing them. The is especially troublesome for companies in other time zones, or weekend installs.)
It is not uncommon for some modern programs, after the initial installation, to have been upgraded over the Internet. If any of your current programs fall into this category, after the re-install, you will need to repeat the online upgrade process as you did before.
Be assured, we will do everything we can to successfully migrate all your critical data and programs to your new computer. (We have successfully migrated many programs, for thousands of customers over the decades, and can do so for you.) Your input in the above form will help us do an accurate and successful job for you.
