Since the revolutionary war large posters have been employed in the cause of patriotism. The Second World War (WWII) saw the production of some of the finest examples of this art. Six decades ago these posters helped bolster our courage, stiffen our resolve, and kept us focused. To those goals I've recycled a few of the better WWII posters, and added a few contemporary creations of my own. Be they much smaller in size, and not the quality of a true artist, I pray these offerings become large in our hearts. May my humble offerings inspire a few artists, much better than I, and influence those with the means to literally flood our country with a new series of these "Victory Signs".

Stop the Hijackings!
Years ago, airlines used to offer "smoking" and "non-smoking" flights. It would be interesting to see what would happen if airlines began offering "armed" and "unarmed flights." Which planes do you think that would-be hijackers would prefer to take?
It's all crap!
All of United States airline security is focused on its customers. Essentially, the United States has decided that the common airline passenger is the biggest threat to the common airline passenger. It has created this vast terror state, through which you cannot travel with a weapon - where you can be arrested for simply having too much cash by the DEA - where you can be strip searched for being black and female. Supposedly all for our security. And it's all crap.Six reasons why this will never happen:
1). It does not increase the size of government.
2). It gives no reason to appropriate additional funding.
3). It provides no additional government control over citizens.
4). It requires citizens to provide for their own defense (horrors!).
5). It doesn't appear to increase their chances for re-election.
6). It makes too much sense.

Flight 93 was the only one of four hijacked planes that did not smash into a major target on the ground, and some officials are already saying that the actions of people on board may have prevented an even greater tragedy.
Don't Shoot! "They're NOT the same religion!"
A gunman shot at two Mesa gas stations and a house Saturday afternoon, killing the owner of one of the stores. Harjit Singh Sodhi, 40, of Mesa, AZ. said the killer targeted his brother because he had dark skin, a black beard and turban. The Sodhis are from Punjab, India, and practice the Sikh religion.I'm sure I don't have to remind anyone who's smart enough to use a computer and read this page, that not all those with dark skin or wear a turban are terrorists. As sad and horrific as this is, I expect we will see more of this stupidity before it's all over. The shooter should be stripped of his citizenship and run out of the country. He's an embarrassment to all us real Americans! -JR
